Reaching Higher Ground - Disaster & Crisis Intervention Facilitation

Reaching Higher Ground - a Christ Focused Disaster and Crisis Intervention (DCI) Process Created Following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita

Haiti - The needs will be tremendous for DCI.

ATC professional facilitators have years of experience in training and preparing teams of facilitators in DCI processes.  Following hurricane Katrina in the USA, ATC's Bego Rodas-Meeker re-designed existing DCI tools to create a powerful, Christ-focused curriculum for this work. Given the magnitude of the Haiti disaster and the years of recovery work ahead, focus can be placed on preparing professionals in Haiti to do the necessary training and support of DCI facilitators.  For information, contact ATC facilitator training experts today.  The curriculum can be made available at no cost to qualified organizations that are preparing for the long journey of recovery ahead.

Haiti - organizations need equipping to help.
ATC facilitators and trainers were founding members of the Global Facilitators Service Corps (GFSC), a non-profit agency focused on community recovery and rebuilding.

Examples of past DCI applications by GFSC founders include:

Gulf Coast-USA: Hurricane Katrina 2005

Armero-Colombia: Mudslides 1987

 Caracas-Venezuela: Mudslides 1999

 Taiwan: Earthquake1999

 Nicaragua: Hurricane Mitch 1998
